Our specialized software enables you to compose an e-mail which will then be sent to someone's fax machine. This is accomplished by simply sending an e-mail to an address in the following format : @vax.co.za Note : the fax number must be in its International format. The e-mail itself can be composed in one of two ways : 1) either type the body of your e-mail and send it (in this case the fax will consist of the body of your e-mail)
2) or attach a file to your e-mail and send it (in this case the fax will consist of the contents of the attachment)

- Do I need a phone line to be able to send faxes ?? You don't need any additional equipment. Simply carry on doing what you're already doing. For instance, it doesn't matter whether you're sending e-mail by making use of a dial-up-, ISDN- or ADSL Internet connection. Simply do whatever you've always been doing to send e-mail.
- How fast will a fax be sent ?? We're using very sophisticated software for the conversion process. Therefore, the first part of sending a fax (i.e. converting the e-mail to fax format) happens almost instantaneously. Thus, the speed of an outgoing fax depends almost solely on the speed of your Internet connection (i.e. how fast you're able to send e-mail).
- What will the cost of an outgoing fax amount to ??
